Haircut vs. Butchering

I take my Himalayian cat 2 times a year to the groomers to get her kitty haircut. In the Spring/Summer and Fall I usually get her a close shave. So basocally she is a naked kitty. This was the first time that I took her in the Winter to get a kitty haircut. My sister had to take her since I had to work. I gave her specific instructions on what I wanted done to her. She was to get her potty patch, her stomach could be shaved since that's where the majority of her mats are at. And to just "cut" the top part of her hair. So that's what my sister told the groomers. Well here are the before and after photos and you be the judge is this was just a "cut"
Here is my beautiful Priscillia. She is such a pretty cat. She has nice long white fur, and gray feet, tail and face. (yes I am a proud cat owner who thinks that thier kitties are the purrtiest cats in the world.) Well this is how Priscilla usually looks. She is just a little ball of fluff. She weighs 6 pounds but I would bet that it is mostly just fur.

Here is Priscilla after her haircut. My little ball of fluuf is gone. When she goes to the groomers she usually has and does have a lions tail, little "pom poms" on her feet and her face is usually trimmed. But look at the top of her. I asked for a "cut" and this is what I got. Is this really a cut? To me this is butchering. I paid $55.00 for this. I do not mind spending money on my pets but I should get at least what I asked for. The weather is a tad chilly and I am worried that she will be cold since she doesn't have very much hair on her. This was not a very good day for Priscilla and I
